Information Regarding our Services
Dental Abroad does not provide dental, medical, or healthcare treatment. All dental treatment is provided by independent, licensed dental professionals at partner clinics overseas. Our services are limited to guidance, coordination, and support before, during, and after treatment.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dental Abroad is not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from clinical treatment, treatment outcomes, decisions made based on information provided through this website, acts or omissions of partner clinics, or travel-related disruptions, delays, or complications. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits consumer guarantees or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law
Cancellation, Rescheduling and Non-Attendance
Appointment times are reserved with our partner clinics on your behalf. When an appointment is cancelled at short notice, that time can rarely be reallocated to another patient. The fees set out below reflect the cost of holding reserved clinical time and are charged on that basis.
Notice periods and fees
More than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment
No fee applies. You may cancel or reschedule at no cost.
Within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment
A cancellation fee of $50 AUD applies, being 50% of the appointment fee.
On the day of the scheduled appointment, or where you do not attend
A cancellation fee of $100 AUD applies, being 100% of the appointment fee.
Notice is calculated from the time your cancellation is received in writing by Dental Abroad, measured against the scheduled appointment time in local clinic time (Central Indonesia Time, UTC+8).
Where you do not attend a scheduled appointment and have not notified us, the same fee applies as for a cancellation on the day.
How to cancel or reschedule
Cancellation and rescheduling requests must be made in writing to ricky@dentalabroad.com.au. You may also contact us via Whatsapp on +6285 121 358 193.
Please notify Dental Abroad rather than contacting the clinic directly, so that the change can be coordinated on your behalf and confirmed back to you.
A cancellation or reschedule is only effective once we have confirmed receipt in writing.
Medical exemption
No cancellation fee is charged where you are unable to attend for medical reasons and provide a medical certificate from a registered medical or dental practitioner.
The certificate must cover the date of the scheduled appointment and be provided to Dental Abroad within seven days of that date. Where a fee has already been charged, it will be refunded in full on receipt of the certificate.
Rescheduling
Where an appointment is rescheduled with more than 24 hours' notice, no fee applies and your appointment is moved to the next available time that suits you.
Where an appointment is rescheduled within 24 hours, the applicable cancellation fee above is charged and a new appointment is arranged. Cancellation fees are not credited against the cost of the rescheduled appointment or against your treatment total.
Changes made by the clinic or by Dental Abroad
If a partner clinic is unable to proceed with a confirmed appointment, we will coordinate an alternative time at the earliest opportunity. No cancellation fee applies in these circumstances, and any fee already charged for that appointment will be refunded in full.
Fees and currency
Cancellation fees are charged in Australian dollars. Where an equivalent amount is expressed in Indonesian rupiah, the Australian dollar amount is the amount payable.
Information Regarding Partner Clinics
Partner clinics are independently owned and operated. Dental Abroad does not supervise, manage, or control the clinical services provided by partner clinics and is not responsible for their acts, omissions, or clinical outcomes.
